We arrived at our shipper about an hour before the service failure deadline. They had a loaded trailer for us, but they didn't want me to drop my empty there. So we sent a message to Schneider telling them we would be dropping it at the near by academy, unless told otherwise.
We drove another 2 hours after that and spent the night at a medium sized truck stop in Columbus Wisconsin. The second half of the building smelled like natural gas and have Stephanie a headache.
The next morning we drove to Poplar Bluff, Missouri. At a truck stop I said we would never stop at again, but my sleepiness won. The problems with the truck stop: muddy lot, unclean bathrooms, and lack of coffee cup lids.
My prior two posts were about a couple of adventures we had on this load. Which were running out of DEF and Stephanie being separated from me at the guard shack. Other then those two things, our transit on Wednesday went smoothly. I love driving Texas roads because they are nice. I also enjoy the higher speed limits.
