De Perre Wisconsin to Evadale Texas

It has been awhile since I have been up to the Green Bay Area. I enjoyed driving there at night, but Stephanie would have preferred driving thru the city during the day. She wanted to the sights 😎
We arrived at our shipper about an hour before the service failure deadline. They had a loaded trailer for us, but they didn't want me to drop my empty there. So we sent a message to Schneider telling them we would be dropping it at the near by academy, unless told otherwise.
Back at the shippers yard we picked up our loaded trailer and used their scale to make the weight distribution legal. We still needed a 30 minute break. So we enjoyed a leisure break at a gas station. It was there I learned Sephanie prefers BBQ sauce over any other sauce.
We drove another 2 hours after that and spent the night at a medium sized truck stop in Columbus Wisconsin. The second half of the building smelled like natural gas and have Stephanie a headache.
The next morning we drove to Poplar Bluff, Missouri. At a truck stop I said we would never stop at again, but my sleepiness won. The problems with the truck stop: muddy lot, unclean bathrooms, and lack of coffee cup lids.
My prior two posts were about a couple of adventures we had on this load. Which were running out of DEF and Stephanie being separated from me at the guard shack. Other then those two things, our transit on Wednesday went smoothly. I love driving Texas roads because they are nice. I also enjoy the higher speed limits.
