Fordland Missouri to Valliant Oklahoma

My favorite customer happens to reside in Fordland Missouri. We noticed that they had a load available, so we took it.
Since Nixa was not too far out of route, we stopped by home for about 45 minutes. Getting the mail is always a priority.
Our load wasn't ready when we got to Fordland. Since it was so late in the day, their employees were extremely motivated to get our trailer loaded quickly.
We scaled our load in Joplin Missouri. As I drive onto the platforms, Stephanie voluntarily takes it upon herself to open the "Weigh My Truck" app and enters all of the necessary information. Weighing a truck has never been so easy.
My DOT hours allowed me to drive to McAlester Oklahoma, where we carefully backed into one of my frequent gravel parking spaces. It's a real obstacle course at that Shell station. The poles and diesel pumps bear the scars of various drivers' carelessness.
Thursday was a successful day. For dinner, we had a simple corn dog, as we had been snacking all day.
It took about 90 minutes to get to Valliant from McAlester. Along the way, Stephanie scoured and refreshed the load board, looking for something suitable. There wasn't much available within a 150 mile radius. As we arrived in our customer, we finally settled on a load that would take us to Colorado. We would have to drive about three hours to our shipper, and wait until the following morning to pick it up.
The folks in Valliant Oklahoma didn't have an empty trailer available for us, so we got in line to be alive unloaded. It took a really long time to complete this process. I was glad that we were at least first in line. Abiding by their stringent safety policies, we had to wait inside of a designated area while they removed the bales of scrap cardboard from our trailer. Doesn't Stephanie look amazing in this hardhat?
