Kansas City Missouri to North Wilkesboro North Carolina

We picked up our relay trailer from the Schneider drop lot in Kansas City. The yard was much fuller than I have ever seen it, most likely because so many drivers are taking time off for the holidays. 

  Pushing my logbook to its legal limit, I got us down to Peculiar Missouri to spend the night. 

  The following morning, we drove three hours & took an hour break in our hometown of Nixa. There were three packages waiting for us at the post office. I also found my missing keys. Before leaving town, we visited my grandpa at the nursing home. 

  We spent our second night under this load in Lebanon Tennessee. Stephanie cooked tomato bisque & grilled cheese for dinner. For dessert, we went into the convenience store to get milk shakes. It was my first time to use one of these machines.

  The rest of our trip went smoothly, delivering close to our original schedule.
