Picking Up in Joplin; Arriving Home

We started our morning in McAlester Oklahoma. Both of us woke up before our alarms went off. We arrived in Joplin 15 minutes before our appointment. I had to work quickly to clean the trailer out properly. They got us loaded within a reasonable amount of time.
After getting loaded, we drove to a famous truck stop in Springfield Missouri to get fuel and to get showers. Oh, and I scaled the load. It was perfectly legal.
It took about 30 minutes to get down to Nixa. We are beginning our 34 hour restart. The weather is a little wet. We have yet to see how the rain impacts our time with the boys. I try to teach them adaptability.
I put a padlock on the trailer. We don't park the trailer in an area where hoodlums frequently roam, but things do happen occasionally.
I'm intending to resume our trip toward Pennsylvania as early as 1 o'clock in the morning Thanksgiving day.
