Nov. 14 Streator, IL to Springfield, MO

This was the load that brought us home. It was more than 40,000 pounds of empty glass bottles for iced coffee drinks. I was careful about securing the pallets properly. 

  Arriving in Springfield, a yard driver handled the receiving process. He signed my paperwork & directed me to drop my loaded trailer into door #20. While doing so, the foot of my landing gear fell off! I ran it over before realizing what had happened. I was so glad the tire didn't pop. After loosely fitting it back onto the leg & disconnecting from the trailer, I reported the issue to my company and theirs. 

  We took an empty trailer to Nixa & began our 34-hour restart.
