Had a Good Time at Home, but Not Too Good

"Time off" started at the Freightliner dealership in Springfield Missouri Tuesday night. We were having them check our shock absorbers to see if they were worn out & to hopefully have them covered under warranty, as we were advised to inquire about per the advice of a truckstop mechanic in Joplin & a maintenance advisor from Washington. Our Freightliner mechanic found no such problems. He advised us to have our alignment checked & corrected again. We had one done 5 weeks ago in Oregon.
They were done looking at our truck at around midnight. We had been following the Presidential election results, but were tired enough to go to bed two hours before we knew who won.
We picked my 2-year-old son up at 8am. School buses were still buzzing around Nixa. The older two boys' time at school gave me more time to concentrate on Wyatt. We had chores to do, but we mingled fun things with my grown-up responsibilities.
We went over to my parents' house to pick up my brother, who happens to be mentally disabled. My parents decided to prohibit me from spending time with Mark as long as my girlfriend is around. They are extremely religious & highly judgemental of anyone who doesn't confirm to their doctrine. We had to leave their house without getting to spend any significant time with my brother. Below is a picture of him from two weeks ago.
After the older two boys were out of school, we spent the evening in the backyard of my grandpa's vacant house. My mom & uncle are in the process of getting it ready for sale. Although I have permission to go inside, we just do everything in the backyard. It's partial camping.
