Carthage MO to Maxton NC

It's always fascinating to go to the caves of Carthage Missouri. A driver has to really pay attention among the jagged rock pillars. We saw a driver scrape his trailer in one of them while we were down there. 

  We had a good trip to Maxton North Carolina, but the guard at our destination didn't seem to know what she was doing. Our original assignment showed that we were supposed to drop the loaded trailer in their property, but she insisted that we had to wait with the trailer while it got unloaded. We were directed to a staging area where we were told to wait for someone to call us with a dock door number assignment. I had a feeling that we would be waiting a really long time for that, so I climbed into bed & went to sleep. Five and a half hours later, I woke up to see if I had missed a phone call. Nope, they seemed to have forgotten about me. I called the guard house to see what was going on. They told me to wait a while longer. An hour later, the inept guard called me to tell me to drop in on the yard. Ugh.
