Returning to the Varied Routine

After an action-packed time at home, we are back in the trucking realm. We got up really early this morning. Stephanie drove the rental van up to Kansas City while I slept in the passenger seat. 

  Being asleep for much of the way, the trip went quickly. We stopped by the truck to unload our baggage from the rental vehicle. Then, we proceeded 24 more miles to the Avis rental car drop-off. We almost forgot to visit a gas station first, to fill up the tank.
