Since our customer is in Aurora, I tried to park at the nearest truckstop to there. Although it was relatively early in the afternoon, all of the parking spaces were full. I didn't feel right about improvising a space, so Stephanie looked up another truck stop with reserved parking. She booked the very last one available. We backtrack 9 miles to Denver and happily backed into our slanted $15 parking space.
Craving an evening on the town, we ordered a ride from Uber. The lady who pick us up seemed to have a difficult time with directions. We eventually arrived at an outdoor shopping center with a movie theater. We bought tickets for "Deepwater Horizon". It was a pretty good movie.
After the show, we went next-door to enjoy some frozen yogurt. We shared a combination of chai latte and pumpkin spice, with almonds and maraschino cherries on top.
While we stood outside savoring our confection, I called each of my children on FaceTime. They all had quite a weekend. Their mother was out of town; Hunter went camping with Boy Scouts; and the younger two boys spent two nights with my parents. They were all at home when I called.
