Nowhere to Pee

Most of yesterday went extraordinarily well. The trip from Carlisle Pennsylvania to Charlotte North Carolina went smoothly and our customer unloaded us quickly. We were delivering Dasani water. The warehouse had vending machines which dispensed canned sodas for 25¢.
Our next customer was in Browns Summit North Carolina, about two hours north. The load wouldn't be ready until Saturday morning, so we drove as close to the customer as possible before parking it for the night.
We recently spent the night at a Lowe's store in Greensboro North Carolina without any problems, so I decided to park there again. It was nearly midnight in the brightly lit, highly trafficked neighborhood. We figured we would venture out for some food and especially to empty our bladders before going to sleep. Every place we walked to was either closed or was closing, even the Walmart supercenter! Nobody would let us inside to use the restrooms, even when we expressed our urgency. They made us feel like dirty vagrants. We had to return to the truck, frustrated, and make crude use of empty disposable drink bottles. That's life on the road.
