Getting to Know You

The last few days have been memorable. The truck runs well & conserves fuel almost as impressively as advertised. There have been a few things that I've had to adjust to on the new truck.      Obviously, there is the auto-shifting transmission. It has 12 gears & the computer decides which one is most appropriate for a given situation. I don't always agree, so it's nice to have the option of manually selecting the desired gear. 

   The engine brake is controlled by the stick on the column now. It has three levels & dramatically downshifts whenever I engage it to the second & third levels.
