The 7th was my birthday. It feels a little strange to acknowledge that I am 40 years old. It was nice to be at home during my birthday, which is a rarity. Lots of friends and family members wrote on my Facebook wall. My grandpa took us out for dinner at a popular buffet restaurant, where the waitstaff sang "happy birthday" to me.
My 40th birthday wasn't entirely fun, as I had to finally admit that I needed to go to a clinic for a bronchitis diagnosis and drug prescriptions. I'm usually able to tough these things out - without the aid of toxic concoctions produced by a greedy pharmaceutical industry.
I left home on Tuesday, going to my usual places in Oklahoma and Texas. If my plans go without interruption, I will be home again Sunday afternoon.
