Sick

Being really sick in the truck is a miserable thing. When a toilet isn't available, a driver has to improvise. Years of experience has helped me hone that technique, but I'd rather be at home or in a motel whenever my immune system fails.  I spent the prior 37 hours at the Flying J in Tulsa Oklahoma. Most of the aches & strange feelings have subsided now. My wife and boys had the same illness last week; it was probably an inevitable thing for me to get. With a renewed sense of strength, I'm back on the job & under a load. My route takes me through home. It'll be nice to spend a night there. My 11-year-old son, Hunter, will be joining me on my trip to Illinois. Christmas break is finally here.
