Parking In Uneasy Peace
There is a customer in the Dallas area that I deliver to somewhat frequently. The first time I was here, I showed up in the evening prior to my appointment. By chance, I clicked on the remarks tab of my computer and discovered that they prohibit early deliveries. Since they have no available overnight parking, I explored the neighborhood and found a vacant lot nearby. A building appears to have stood there, years ago. The neighborhood is a bit shabby. A fellow driver was parking there for the night. I settled in next to him. A few occasions since then, I have used that location for my mandatory 10-hour break. Nobody has stopped by to kick me out, somewhat to my surprise.
