WHAT'S THAT SOUND?

While I was rolling through a small Texas town, a few minutes ago, I heard a loud bang. There was nothing visible in my mirrors to indicate that it came from me, like a blast of debris. Needing a break, I stopped at a nearby Valero travel plaza, situated off of I-20. I have been traveling along TX-155. Coming back from the convenience store, I walked around the back of my truck, as I usually do, performing a casual inspection. Lo, and behold: a trailer tire was obviously flat. It had come loose from the rim, but did not appear to be catastrophically damaged.
Schneider's emergency maintenance number has been seared into my memory after many years of calling them. The kind-sounding technician made prompt arrangements for a nearby tire dealer to come out to replace/fix my tire. The tire service's corporate office called me shortly after hanging up with SEM to confirm my needs & location. They estimated that someone would arrive at my location within an hour. Events like these are why I give myself plenty of transit time to get to my customers.
