This winter and spring has been catastrophic for my fuel filters. They have been clogging with surreal frequency. This morning, yet another mechanic warned me against running southern-bought fuel into northern regions of the country, where even 30° temperatures will quickly degrade the fuels containing a percentage of bio-crap. The guys at the TA in Janesville Wisconsin got me in and out of their shop within 30 minutes, allowing me to make on-time delivery to a home-improvement warehouse near Chicago.
Since leaving North Carolina, the other day, I roamed the Northeast, then took an urgent load to northern Illinois. My days have been full.
My current load takes me through home tomorrow & lets me stay until Sunday.
It was good to finally get my second-quarter sustainment training done at the Schneider operating center in Edwardsville Illinois. I prefer to use their computers. While doing so, I did three loads of laundry.
