AT LEAST THEY FIXED ONE THING

It was nice to spend an extra day at home. Regina drove me to the dealership Saturday afternoon, to pick up my truck and resume work. As usual, I asked for the printout of the services performed. Curiously absent from the summary was the job I had originally brought my truck in for!
The original "check engine" light was related to the cruise control. The second "check engine" light was related to the DEF system, which this dealership messed up on last year. That is what they allegedly corrected this time. Springfield Freightliner in Springfield Missouri has a remarkable ability for failing the customer. I had to leave the dealership to complete my load, with a brightly illuminated "check engine" light still glaring at me. At least they corrected one problem and it didn't cost me anything. I'm absolutely convinced that I am truly the very most patient customer. It may be time to take extraordinary measures to get my truck worked on elsewhere. The only reason I have done it in Springfield for so long is because it is so close to home.
