QUICK VISIT WITH RON

At 3 o'clock this morning, my friend, Ron, and I got together at a mediocre truck stop on the south side of San Antonio. I was heading north, from Laredo. And he was heading south, to Laredo. He and his team partner are on a dedicated Nissan account that runs between Smyrna Tennessee & Laredo Texas. It had been a while since we had seen each other. We've been friends for several years. Ron is just one of those people I have natural chemistry with. He is exploring the idea of following my example & becoming an owner operator. It was fun to show him the load board that I use to pick freight & to describe how things go for me. He says that he is almost ready to make the big leap.
