TRUE WINTER

The weather forcast usually doesn't slip by my ears or eyes. Iowa got pounded a couple of days ago & I went on in totally unaware. The roads were fine for me, but it was apparent that they had only recently been cleared. Cars & trucks littered the ditches & median. I delivered my load in northeastern Iowa, backing my trailer through foot-deep snow. Temperatures were in the single-digits. My earmuffs made a world of difference to my comfort.
I was about to post some pictures, until I realized I downloaded all of my iPhone pics to my laptop last night. Oops.
Most evidence of snowfall dissapeted as I drove south, approaching Kansas City. I spent the night in Ottawa, Kansas.
