THEN I WENT HOME

After delivering my load of canned soup to a distribution center south of Kansas City, I spent about an hour with a nearby close friend who has been struggling with various major family events. 

   I got home just after sunset. My boys and wife were very glad to have me back in town, even though I had only been gone since Monday. My next load has me departing in about 34 hours. We make the most of the short time I get to be around.
