This morning, I delivered a load of scrap cardboard to a recycling facility in Morrilton, Arkansas. After the bales were all unloaded, I took a broom into the trailer to clean it out. Among the lingering scraps of cardboard was a box that appeared to have something in it.

I put it in the cab of my truck, forgetting about it until I stopped for a break, several hours later.

When I finally did open it, I found two brand-new baseball bats. Consulting with my wife, we both agreed that this is a happy case of finders-keepers. Our boys are excited about my find. Now all we need are some baseballs.
