At the end of each workday, I take a casual look around my truck to make sure there'll be no extraordinary surprises for me in the morning. My left front tire was looking unusually low yesterday evening. I made arrangements to have the truckstop shop take a look at it. My maintenance advisor told me that I would have to get a brand-new tire, since it's against the law to place a repaired or recapped tire on a steer axle. There's always something new to learn in the trucking world. The mechanics were a great bunch. They got me fixed up as soon as possible - after all of the authorizations cleared for me.
