With 30 minutes left on my DOT clock, I completed my workday at this service plaza near Fremont Indiana. It was a little difficult leaving the truck stop this morning. I had to back up and reposition to find my way out of the parking lot. Big trucks were parked illegally everywhere! This is just a simple result of the lack of truckstops in New York.
This was a relatively drama-free Tuesday. Checking the weather forecast, I decided I should pick up the pace in order to complete my current load and accomplish most of the next one tomorrow. Looks like more winter weather will be hitting Illinois.
I made myself a modest dinner in my 12V oven. While it was heating up, I took a 20 minute walk.
The wind has been blowing hard today. I have chosen to leave my hat in the truck whenever I step outside. There's nothing wrong with messy hair as long as it is easily managed with a few swipes of a comb.
