When I awoke this morning, it was -3°. I had spent the prior 22 hours in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This was the first night that I had idled my new truck for my entire time off-duty. I used 15 gallons of diesel to prevent disastrous consequences from the cold weather. There are plenty of horror stories about diesel turning to gel & batteries not having enough juice to crank the engine. I will do what it takes to maintain my truck so I can continue to earn a living.
