ICY ROAD TRUCKING

This was a very stressful driving day. My day started near St Louis, in light snow. I wrapped up my day in central Arkansas (Bald Knob), having driven on very perilous ice for the prior 100 miles. About 4 hours of my day was spent parked on a two-lane road, while wreckers labored to recover a flat-bed semi from the ditch.
Listening to the news & receiving Twitter alerts, I remained calm, knowing that many other drivers had much more serious delays than I did. Almost every region of the United States was enduring treacherous travel weather.
I parked in the very last legitimate parking spot in this travel plaza. My mind & body are tired. It's time to say good-night.
