HOME AT FULL THROTTLE

We got home this morning. It was Mr. H's shift to drive. Since I hadn't yet acquired 10 hours off duty, I had to drive him home in my personal vehicle. We still have HOS laws to abide by.

Much of Nixa and Ozark was littered with leaves and broken branches from an extremely severe storm that had swept through the area overnight. Power was still out in various places, including stoplights.

I didn't spend much time with my family right away. I had various chores to do in Springfield, including getting my sports physical performed so that I could volunteer at camp with the Boy Scouts this upcoming weekend.

As usual, life has been very busy this first day at home.
