NORTHBOUND

TUESDAY A driver generally drives North from Laredo. As soon as my 34-hour restart was complete, we were back in motion at full throttle. I got through San Antonio without much delay, but Austin was a slow experience. Evening rush hour was in full swing. There wasn't any notable drama to mention along the I-35, I-635 and I-30 corridors. Most of my fellow travelers were courteous & safe. I drove 634 miles during my shift, ending my work day in Prescott, Arkansas with 6 minutes remaining on my 11-hour drive clock. Mr. H was pleased to wake up at a nicer truckstop than I have been subjecting him to in the previous days.
