Our trucking experience came to an abrupt pause last Friday, After my partner had an unpleasant experience with a hardened pile of snow. Today is Tuesday. Freightliner says our truck should be out of the shop tomorrow, late morning.
By Saturday afternoon, I realized that it would be in my best interest to get my own, separate hotel room. Sure, I have to pay for it out of my own pocket, but it is so worth it. I've been telling my friends that I have been treating this like an unscheduled vacation. There are convenience stores, restaurants & a grocery store nearby. Life isn't too bad.
