I checked into my 30th place this morning. Foursquare is proving to be very enjoyable and informative. Unbeknownst to the man I am following on Twitter, he is the one who inspired me to check out this social networking media. Just a little while ago, he accepted my "friend" request. He is now my second "friend", in addition to my cousin, Melissa. I've never met him personally, but I think we will meet sometime in the near future. Perhaps at the Gary OC. Carl also works for Schneider. I noticed that he checks into the drop lot in the Sturtevant quite often – that's where my friend, Alex, frequents as well.
On Foursquare, participants frequently leave tips about a particular location they have checked into. Sometimes they will comment on the quality of their service, the food, or the cleanliness of the restrooms. Foursquare also allows businesses to advertise occasional bargains.
I usually have my foursquare check-ins automatically linked to my Twitter account. Not so much on Facebook. My Twitter handle is @steviegree.
