My friends & I keep track of each others' whereabouts via text messaging & social media. Peter & Brenda were picking up a relayed trailer in Laredo, then heading out West. I told them I would be arriving an hour after they got here. Being good friends & wanting to visit, they delayed their departure to wait for me. After I got my trailer inspected, I drove over to their truck & parked perpendicularly. As long as I wasn't impeding traffic, I didn't need to drop my Mexico-bound trailer into a slot immediately. The three of us enjoyed lively conversation for about ten minutes, before our respective responsibilities prompted us to get moving. They are the kind of folks who have a similar zest for life & love of truck driving as I do. We met on a customer's dock in Denver about 4 years ago & have enjoyed keeping in touch ever since. These coincidental meet-ups are a lot of fun.
