IMPROVEMENTS?

Yesterday (Monday), I woke up near our destination of Beech Island, South Carolina. My partner delivered our load, then we remained parked near our costumer's office for the next two hours - waiting for a load assignment. When we did get one, we had a lot more waiting to do. We had to wait another 6 hours for the loading appointment, then another 4 hours in the dock. I hope business picks up soon. Christmas freight should be in full effect by now, but it isn't.

It is 11:15am. We just entered the state of Delaware. Our destination is just a few miles ahead. Hopefully the dispatchers will have found something good for us to leave the state with.

An item of good news is that we got an upgrade to our Qualcomm software. The navigation function is more streamlined & colorful. There are other improvements that I've yet to discover & explore. Here's a nice blurry picture for ya. Ha ha.

My dad sent me a location request via his smartphone Glympse app. Looks like upgrades have been made on there too. New look & new features.

Also, the naked body scanners are being removed from certain airports. This is a step on the right direction for dignity & human rights. Hopefully this isn't just an election season ploy to make us forget what a totalitarian regime we have. I don't think the other guy will do any better if he's elected. They all have a thirst for control over the citizenry.
