DON'T LEAVE ME BEHIND

This morning, I woke up at an Ohio truckstop. My co-driver had already been inside for an undetermined amount of time. I needed to get up & get my personal things done, as well. Before I stepped out of the truck, I put my pillow on the steering wheel. When Victor gets back to the truck, he will know that I'm not in here & hopefully not leave without me.

There was a driver who stepped out of the sleeper, in his underwear, to pee on the grass behind the trailer while his partner was getting things done inside a truckstop. The partner returned to their truck, started it up & took off without any delay. Unbeknownst to him, his virtually naked co-driver was still outside & yelling for him to stop. A sheriffs deputy happened to be in the area during this commotion, so he provided a trash bag to the driver to be used as clothing. With lights & sirens wailing, they finally tracked down the truck. By the time the deputy reunited the poor fellow with his partner, he was laughing too hard to issue any citations. You can be sure that a similar situation never happened again to these two. And, no, this didn't happen to me.
