FREE TIME

What do you do when you have lots of spare time? There are several other drivers in the OC cafeteria killing time, all in their own unique way. The guy at the next table is trying to download something to his laptop. The fellow across from me is studying something. The driver behind me set up his own 21" television to play games on. Two guys across the room are watching the Cowboys game. And the ladies at the fuel desk are eating salads & talking about my In-N-Out Burger t-shirt.

I have kept myself occupied with a wide variety of things today.
1. Did laundry
2. Had phone conversations with my wife, son & a friend.
3. Took a guy to the airport.
4. Aired up a low tire on the company car.
5. Went out again with 3 drivers for Chinese food.
6. Facebooked. (I just invented a word)
7. Wrote lots of postcards.
8. Blogged.
9. Took a training course on the company computer.
10. Traded "war stories" with other drivers.

Neither of us chose to get a motel room. All we need is right here, at & inside of the Indianapolis OC.

*It's now Tuesday, 1:19am. My co-driver is here, in the building now. I was just about to walk to the truck, but decided to stay indoors for a few more minutes. It is raining really hard. I'm wearing a Bluetooth headset & I've got my computer bag with me. Rain and electronics aren't very compatible.
