MEDICAL MISERY

Nixa, Missouri
Yesterday was very difficult for Regina & even more difficult for my grandmother.
More than a week after her tonsillectomy, Regina started bleeding a lot from her incision sites. After repeated calls to our medical advisors, she went to the ER. When a doctor viewed her throat, he assured her that everything was fine, in spite of the open & bleeding former tonsil sites. We hope he was right.

Shawnee, Oklahoma
Grandma Alice had such an easy pacemaker installation the other day. We were all so happy that she would be going home yesterday. The plans changed. She started having unbearable pain in her legs & feet, which lasted all night. She was eventually diagnosed with neuropathy and got the needed medicine. It looks like she will be in the hospital for another night. Several family members are there with her, now including my dad & brother.
