INDEPENDENCE DAY

It was kind of a melancholy day for me, being away from my family on this national holiday. We did talk & trade pictures, though. My boys attended my brother's birthday party. He turned 30 yesterday. Mark always enjoys his birthdays to the maximum degree. His parties are usually held at Incredible Pizza - a pizza & enormous game center in Springfield.
I stopped in a small Indiana town for lunch. A fellow Schneider driver pulled in as well. He was an Iraq war veteran & our company chose to give him a fancy, fancy truck to honor his service & to represent the company in. We visited for about twenty minutes before heading on our way.
Meanwhile, Grandma Greenwalt was spending her day in the ICU of a Shawnee, Oklahoma hospital. Her heart was failing & needed a pacemaker. Uncle Galen & Aunt Marti were there to attend to her, thankfully. Dad was home, in Springfield. He is currently driving to Oklahoma now.
