Friends make life enjoyable. I had a random sighting & a meet-up with some friends, within a few hours of each other.
I was driving north, from Laredo, Texas. Peter & Brenda, an owner-operator team, were heading south. We waved & flashed our lights at each other, possibly confusing other motorists.
Two hours later, I called Ron, because I saw someone who looked very much like him at a truckstop that I had passed. It wasn't him, but he was having lunch at a different truck stop 10 miles up the road. I took the exit, and we visited for several minutes, before resuming our respective trips.
