BROWNS SUMMIT, NC

Any system driver who has been around for a while has been to the Procter&Gamble facility in Browns Summit, NC. I figure I have been here 100 times during my ten years as a driver. We like coming here. It is orderly and professionally maintained.

I am currently in the sleeper; my co-driver took over about 45 minutes ago. I ran my DOT clock down to 3 minutes, when I reached our fueling and driver swap point, in Danville, Virginia. Too close to a violation! I drove 630 miles, beginning in Massachusetts, driving through New York City, and ending my work day in southern Virginia. Nobody can claim that I've been slacking off!

It was reported on the news that the government is running another Trillion dollar deficit. We keep telling them to stop the waste, stop the endless wars, and the banker bailouts. Nothing changes. And, let me say it: if either of the currently front-running bozos get into the highest office, the USA has no hope. Only the former Libertarian candidate has the understating, the will, and courage to turn things around.
