HAULING AN ORANGE TRAILER AGAIN

My appreciation goes out to last night's dispatchers, who preassigned us a load yesterday evening. It's so much better to be able to plan out a trip the evening before leaving home, than it is to have to hastily trip plan the morning-of.
We are back in the work groove. I am currently in Fort Smith, Arkansas, waiting for a dock assignment. We left the Ozarks a little before noon today.
A message about operations at the St Louis OC came over the Qualcomm today. Nearly everything should be back to business as usual by Tuesday of this week. Until I told my partner, he hadn't heard a thing about the violence and fire at the OC over the weekend. He, too, was glad that nobody other than the perpetrator was hurt during the standoff.
