KEEPING IT IN THE EASTERN THIRD

It is currently the early afternoon, Wednesday. Our truck is getting the starter replaced at the Atlanta shop. As I update you all, my attention is occasionally drawn to the overhead television in the driver's lounge. The Weather Channel is showing the various travel struggles in the Midwest and Rockies. Our dispatchers have kept us in the Eastern third of the United States, for the past week. Although the lengths of hauls have been shorter than preferable, we are glad to be kept out of the ice and snow.
My boys are getting anxious for Christmas. They have been enjoying Christmas "countdown" chocolates every evening, before they brush their teeth and go to bed.
